Some fat Siena College fan made a mere 3 shots at halftime and got featured on SportsCenter while running around half naked. And then he got free beer for the year. While Johnson CCC's Yar Manyiel made 5 big baskets in one of the team's last games and what did she get? Nothing but Player of the Week. Here's hoping that fat naked guy gives one of those beers to Yar.
2.Kirkwood CC Eagles - (W-NJCAA-D2)-29-0, AMOV:39.97
According to the bio of assistant coach Matt Haas, he's a project manager when not coaching. So clearly he's adept at telling people what to do. But I'm guessing that ends when he gets home. His bio also says he's married.

I read on Wikipedia that the College of the Sequoias is named after Sequoia trees. And I would have sworn it was named after Redwoods.

Just read an article on the team's website noting they are the first ever in the Cascade Conference to finish the season undefeated. Interestingly, you cannot find that article on any of the other teams' websites.

Is this team getting the same publicity as Ohio State's football team? I'm guessing probably not. Is this team really one of the very best? I'm guessing probably not. But with a record of 12-0 while beating their opponents by an average of 29.71 points they are the 10th most dominant team in all of college basketball. So to paraphrase the words of John Bender in The Breakfast Club, "Show some respect!"

University of Scranton is building a new 4-story center on Madison Avenue. So if you are ever lost and see a 4-story building on Madison Avenue, you know you are in Scranton. And not New York.
